The Rams battled hard all weekend long against Bryant and Stratton CC

Game 1 of the series started off slow for the Rams, but they had some solid performances. Nathan Pedrick gave the Rams a good start on the mound, going 4.1 innings, only allowing 3 runs on 4 hits. Jeremiah Thompson was leading the charge for the Rams offense, going 2 for 2 with a walk. Thompson and Kaden Hughes both collected extra base hits in the contest, and the lone Rams RBI came from a Braden Soles single in the 6th inning. The Rams also played clean in the field, committing no errors.

The Rams looked to bounce back in Game 2 of the series behind Aiden Suggs on the mound. Suggs was able to extend his outing to 3.1 innings, striking out 7 and only allowing 2 earned runs on just 2 hits. The Rams' offense was slow, but Kaden Hughes was able to collect a hit and a stolen base. Cooper Ruppert was also able to come in off the bench for a pinch-hit single in the 7th inning.

The Rams offense was able to get going during Game 3 of the series. Braden Soles started the scoring for the Rams in the 4th inning with an RBI fielder's choice. Then, in the 5th inning, Hunter Smith drew a lead-off walk, and Owen Pridgen was able to knock him in. Jeremiah Thompson followed up with an RBI single of his own. In the 6th inning, Aiden Suggs led off the inning with a double and was able to score on an RBI Single from Nikita Sutherland. The Rams collected 9 total hits. Owen Pridgen, Jeremiah Thompson, and Aiden Suggs led the way with 2 hits each. Pridgen and Suggs were both able to find extra bases. 

The Rams return to action this week on Tuesday, April 28th, at Brunswick CC at 2:00 PM. Then, they are home for the final weekend of the year against Fayetteville Tech CC. Games 1 and 2 will take place on Friday, May 1, at 12:00 and 3:00 PM. Game 3 is set for Saturday, May 2, at 1:00 PM. During Game 3, we will be celebrating our Sophomore Rams for Sophomore Day!
