Athletic Spotlight - Emily Gossett

Meet Emily Gossett, an infield player and pitcher for the team, from Aiken, N.C. Emily enjoys eating pasta, watching videos on TikTok and listening to music by Guns N Roses. If she could have any superpower, Emily wishes she could have teleportation "so I can go anywhere I want whenever I want." Her favorite school subject is English, and her favorite book series is "King of Greed." Emily's dad inspires her most because "he has been through a lot of physical pain and keeps going everyday. He inspires me because no matter how hard it gets, you can keep going and pushing forward anyway." Emily's favorite aspect of SCC is the weight room. Outside of school and softball, Emily likes to write short stories. Haley's favorite movies are "Ready Player One" and "Cars," and her favorite TV show is "Special Forces."
